Meet the Principal-Molly Touher

Hello Kendrick Lakes Community!
I'm thrilled to be the next leader at Kendrick Lakes Elementary School, home of the DOLPHINS!  I look forward to meeting all our students and their families starting in August.  I have been in education for more than 20 years from the classroom to school and district leadership. This will be my 11th year in serving as a building principal in Jeffco. I teach because I want to ensure our youngest learners can be and do anything they want in life with a deep foundation of academics and social, emotional and behavior skills and strategies.  I love studying effective teaching and learning strategies alongside fellow teachers. I am a mother of two;  Mara (19) is attending college at Metro State and Alana (17) will be a senior at Golden HS this fall.  My husband Brian is also a teacher.  We met teaching in Turkey together.  As a family, we love camping, skiing, puzzling, traveling, reading, and movie watching.  I love Iowa Football/Basketball (I'm a University of Iowa graduate),  Broadway Musicals and going to Disneyworld!
I look forward to learning about Kendrick Lakes' long history of excellence and serving our community. Together, we will "THINK, ACHIEVE and BECOME" to create a great learning experience for all our students!
