Learning
At Kendrick Lakes Elementary School, we focus on the whole child and family. We partner with families to ensure that students' individual needs are met on a daily basis. The climate and culture of the building elevates belonging and connection, where each student is seen and heard.
Classrooms are set up to provide support for all students with tools and resources focused on the following areas:
- Executive functioning
- Coping tools
- Conflict management and problem solving
- Sensory needs
- Flexible seating options
- Community building, etc.
We support students in their overall learning of how to be human in our ever-changing world by teaching them how to manage their big feelings, get along with others and handle situations that come up at school or at home.
