Participate in parent-teacher conferences, volunteer for events, and join our PTA.
Conferences
Formal conferences occur two times during the school year: one time in the fall semester and one time in the winter/spring semester. In the fall it is required that teachers attempt to meet with each student’s family. In the spring, conferences are no longer optional for teachers and families. Conferences are a time to share student progress and current levels of achievement. Do not wait until conferences to address major concerns. Students can be involved in the process, if desired. When making your team schedule be sure ALL needed participants can attend (special educator, administrator, AMP, etc) if specific to the student.
